Don and Lynn bought the Manor House Gardens café as a Pistachios in the Park franchise from Aysin, who originally established the café here — the first location from which the franchise grew. They believed in the concept, embraced it and have since taken the café to another level.

Manor House Gardens is the original home of Pistachios in the Park — opened in the early 2000s with a lottery grant and still the beating heart of the brand. Tucked inside a classic English park in Lee, South East London, the café sits at the edge of open lawns, old trees and a quiet lake. Step through the gates and the city drops away.

This is the place where Lee and Lewisham locals bring their dogs on a Tuesday morning, where families claim a table early on Saturday, where someone is always working from their laptop over a second flat white. The pace is slow by design — unhurried, warm, and unmistakably its own thing.
